Engine and Ladder 4 responded to a reported brush fire near a building at W. 5^th St. and N. Cedar St. While en-route, alarm changed the address to W. 5^th and W. 6^th St. intersection with pallets on fire. As Engine 4 was approaching the intersection, we found a fire at the rear loading dock area of a building. The loading dock area appeared to be fully involved with fire. Engine 4’s crew advanced a line on the fire, while Ladder 4’s crew attempted to gain access inside the structure to search for extension. Most of the damage was outside the structure, started by vagrants who were living behind the building. Companies that responded were: Batt. 1, Engine 4, 5, 1, Ladder 4.
