Engine 4 & Ladder 4 responded to a 2^nd alarm brush fire on S. I-85 Highway @ Mallard Creek Rd.  Upon our arrival, multiple units were already on scene battling a large area of grass along the highway, extending up a hill and into a wooded area.  Companies that responded were: Batt. 4, 7, 1, Engine 15, 22, 4, 5, 8, Ladder 27, 4, Tanker 71, 21, Brush 5, Newell, Mallard Creek, Harrisburg, and other Mecklenburg and Cabarrus Co. Depts.
