Engine 4 and Ladder 2 were dispatched to a Fire Alarm at 800 E. Morehead St. While en-route, the assignment was upgraded to a box alarm assignment due to calls of smoke and fire coming from the roof  of a restaurant. Ladder 2 arrived with smoke visible. Engine 4 arrived and prepared to reverse to the hydrant. There was a small fire in the kitchen that had extended up the hood system. Engine 4’s crew made the roof to check for extension, while Ladder 2’s crew extinguished the fire in the kitchen. Companies that responded were: Batt. 1, 3, 6, Engines 4, 6, 8, 2, Ladder 2.
