Engine 4 was dispatched to smoke in a house on N. Davidson St. While en-route,
we were advised that the occupant had come home and found the house full of
smoke. Engine 7, 4, and 1 all arrived at the same time, with Engine 7 taking
command of a one story wood frame dwelling with light smoke visible. After
further investigation, a fire was found in one bedroom and in the attic. Engine
7 pulled the first attack line, with Engine 4’s crew pulling and additional
line. Engine 4’s Engineer reversed laid to the hydrant. Engine 1’s crew
preformed a primary search with Ladder 1 venting the roof. Engine 64’s crew was
the rapid intervention team. An electrical fire had started under the house and
ran the wall through the bedroom and into the attic. Companies that responded
were: Batt. 1, 8, Engine 4, 1, 7, 64, Ladder 1, and Rescue 10.
