Engine & Ladder 4 responded to a structure fire on Horne Dr. Engine 11 arrived
first to find an apartment building heavily involved on one end. Car 9 arrived
and took command and struck a second alarm. Engine 4 hand laid a supply line to
Engine 11, and then assisted in suppression. Ladder 4 vented the roof and set
the aerial up. The fire was controlled with one unit totally destroyed, and
several other units with extensive fire damage. All units were vacant at the
time of the fire. B-Shift was called to relieve Engine 4 & Ladder 4 at 08:00. 1st
Alarm companies were: Batt. 1, 3, Car 9, Engine 11, 4, 18, 5, Rescue 10,
and Ladder 4. Second Alarm Companies were: Batt. 2, 6, Engine 2, 64, 8, 10, 1,
7, Ladder 1, 13.
