Engine 4 was dispatched to a vehicle fire on
Martin Luthur King Jr. Blvd. Upon arrival we found a
vehicle with a fire in the engine compartment. The
subject driving the vehicle was pulling in the parking
deck when security guards noticed the fire and helped
him push it out of the deck and into the street.

SHIFT 11-20-2008
Engine 4 and Ladder 4 were dispatched to a house
fire on Dearborn Ave. Engine 4 arrived to find smoke
visible from the front of the house, and pulled a 1-¾ “
handline to the front door for suppression. Engine 11
laid a supply line to Engine 4, while Ladder 4 preformed
ventilation. Engine 18 took a second line into the
structure as backup. The fire was contained to the
kitchen area and hallway, with extensive overhaul.

Engine 4 responded to vehicle fire at the
intersection of E. 12th St. and Maxwell Ct. A
wrecked vehicle from an earlier wreck at another
location was heavily involved in the engine compartment.
