B SHIFT - 11-29-2007
Engine 4 & Ladder 4 were dispatched to a building fire
on Lucena St. Engine 11 arrived to find a dumpster on
fire which had extended into the building. Engine 4 was
assigned to check for extension and Ladder 4 forced
entry into the building. The damage was mainly outside,
with minor damage to the roof area. Companies that
responded were: Batt. 1, 2, 3, Engine 11, 4, 7, 1,
Ladder 4, and Rescue 3.
 
B SHIFT - 11-25-2007
Engine 4 & Ladder 4 were dispatched to a kitchen fire in
an apartment on N. Pine St. Engine 11 arrived and
reported light smoke visible. After investigation, a
working fire was called due to the kitchen being fully
involved. Engine 4 was given an assignment of checking
for extension while Ladder 4 preformed a primary
search. The fire was quickly contained. Companies that
responded were: Batt. 1, 3, Engine 11, 4, 7, 1, Ladder
4, and Rescue 10.
C SHIFT - 11-8-2007
Engine 4 & Ladder 4 were dispatched to an apartment fire
with people trapped on S. Turner Ave. Engine 5 arrived
to find a working fire on the second floor, middle
apartment. Engine 4 laid Engine 5 a supply line and
assisted with suppression. Ladder 4 was assigned search
and ventilation. Upon arrival of all companies, the
reported trapped occupants had gotten out of the fire
apartment. Companies on the box were: Batt. 3, 6, Engine
5, 4, 18, 1, Ladder 4, and Rescue 10.
B SHIFT - 11-5-2007
Engine 4 & Ladder 4 responded to a reported smoke in a
house. While en-route, Alarm advised that the resident
had come home and found smoke in her house. Engine 5
arrived to find fire blowing out a bedroom window and
called it a working fire. Engine 4 laid Engine 5 a
supply line, and then assisted with suppression. Ladder
4 was assigned search and ventilation. The fire was
mainly contained to the bedroom where a candle had been
left burning. Companies on the box were: Batt. 1, 3,
Engine 5, 4, 18, 1, Ladder 4, & Rescue 10.
