B SHIFT  1-28-2008
Engine 4 & Ladder 4 responded to a house fire at Rozzelles Ferry Rd. & S. Turner Ave. Engine 5 arrived to find smoke showing, and declared a working fire. Ladder 4 was assigned to vent the roof, and Engine 4 assisted with suppression. The fire was contained to the bedroom. Companies that responded were: Batt. 4, 8, 3, Engine 5, 4, 18, 11, Ladder 4, and Rescue 10.

B SHIFT 1-28-2008
Engine 4 & Ladder 4 responded to a house fire with entrapment on West Blvd. Engine 10, Rescue 10, and Batt. 3 arrived to find a on story house with fire showing. Ladder 4 was assigned to vent the roof, with Engine 4 assigned RIT. No one was trapped. Companies that responded were: Batt. 3, 1, Engine 10, 5, 4, 1, Ladder 4, and Rescue 10.

B SHIFT 1-16-2008
Engine 4 was dispatched to smoke in a house on N. Davidson St. While en-route, we were advised that the occupant had come home and found the house full of smoke. Engine 7, 4, and 1 all arrived at the same time, with Engine 7 taking command of a one story wood frame dwelling with light smoke visible.  After further investigation, a fire was found in one bedroom and in the attic.

NEW FACES AT STATION # 4 1-5-2008
There are several new faces at Fire Station # 4, and we would like to welcome the new ones, and wish good luck to those members that have left.

A-Shift: We send our best wishes to Capt. Benny Clark who transferred to Engine 37-C, and Capt. Bubba Killian who was promoted from relief Captain to Captain and is now assigned to E-24-B. We welcome Capt. Phil Bosche to Engine 4-A, and Captain Chuck Morris to Ladder 4-A, and Relief Captain Jimmy Brown to Ladder 4-A.

B-Shift: We send our best wishes to Captain Ira Witherspoon who transferred to Engine 23-C. We welcome Captain Steve Goggio to Ladder 4- B who transferred over from Ladder 4-A.

C-Shift: We send our best wishes to Relief Captain Sammy Jones, who was promoted from Relief Captain to Captain and is now assigned to Ladder 1-C, Engineer Randy McKown who transferred to Ladder 2-A, and Firefighter II Kenny Schott who transferred to Engine 9-C. We welcome Relief Captain Matt Westover to Ladder 4-C, Engineer Josh Westbrooks to Engine 4-C, and Firefighter II David Lambert to Ladder 4-C.
